They consist of tubular or — in most cases — finned tubular heating elements (Type RHR) mounted within a robust sheet metal housing. The housing is typically made of galvanised steel or stainless steel, with flanges for easy integration into ventilation ducts or air handling systems.

These heaters are designed for forced-air heating applications, delivering high power in compact dimensions while maintaining low surface temperatures on the heating elements thanks to the finned design.
