The sheathed thermocouple Type TE consists of a thermocouple integrated into a stainless steel sheath and embedded in highly compacted magnesium oxide to ensure optimum electrical insulation. It is easy to bend.
WHAT ARE TEMPERATURE SENSORS TYPE TE?
Temperature Sensors Type TE are robust sheathed thermocouples (also known as mineral-insulated or MI thermocouples) designed for reliable and accurate temperature measurement in industrial environments.
Key Features:
The sensor consists of a thermocouple element integrated into a stainless steel sheath (typically CrNi-steel AISI 321).
The thermocouple wires are embedded in highly compacted magnesium oxide (MgO), which provides excellent electrical insulation, high dielectric strength, and good thermal conductivity.
The flexible construction makes the probes easy to bend on site, allowing straightforward installation even in confined or awkwardly shaped spaces.
They feature a miniaturised, moisture-protected connection sleeve for added durability.
